A tractor trailer spilled a load of hay that blocked Riverview at the bridge over the East Fork of the Carson River around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

East Fork firefighters responded to the incident that required crews to stack bales by hand with help from rancher Nate Leising and workers from Bently Heritage brought forklifts to load the hay back onto the trailer.

Road conditions contributed to spin-outs and minor collisions at Lake Tahoe during the mid-April storms, including an Audi sport utility vehicle that went 20 feet over the side of Kingsbury on April 21.

Since the storms have passed there have been a handful of collisions.

A collision closed Muller Lane Parkway at Highway 395 across from Riverview at the entrance of the Gardnerville Ranchos around 10:40 a.m. Saturday.

There was no report of injury in the collision that involved a Dodge pickup and a BMW sport utility vehicle

Early Monday morning, a Chevrolet SUV landed on its top in a field after driving off the east side of Foothill Road at around 4 a.m.

The collision occurred across from Van Sickle Station. There were three people in the vehicle and none opted for an ambulance ride.

A few hours later, around 8:30 a.m., there was a two-vehicle collision at Highway 395 and Muller Lane. No one was injured.
