Deadline for committee appointments 5 p.m Friday

The deadline to apply for a position on the Airport Advisory or the Audit committees is 5 p.m. Friday.

The county is seeking applications for one seat on each of the boards, with appointments scheduled to be made on May 2.

All applicants must be Douglas County residents. The appointed applicant to the Airport Advisory Committee would serve the unexpired term through Dec. 31, 2025, at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 2-year term. The appointed applicant to the Audit Committee would serve a four-year term which expires Dec. 31, 2027, at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a four-year term.
