Request for Applicants
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for
appointment to the following advisory board:
Genoa Historic District Committee
This commission reviews proposed building changes or development plans
within the district. This appointed applicant would serve out the existing term
which expires December 2022 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for
a 2-year term. Applicants that are a resident of Genoa will have first priority,
but other qualified applicants may be considered. Applicants should have
experience in building construction, or be an architect, designer, engineer, or actively involved in
a state or local historical group. Additional information and application forms are available in the
County Manager’s Office in the Minden Inn, 1594 Esmeralda Avenue in Minden (782-9821) or on
the Douglas County website: www.douglascountynv.gov.
Application Deadline: Friday, September 3, 2021 at 5 PM.
(Appointment will be made at a Douglas County Commissioner’s Meeting,
Thursday, September 16, 2021
