Applications sought for three advisory panels

The Douglas County is currently accepting applications for appointments to three volunteer advisory boards.

Carson Water Subconservancy District – applicants must represent the agricultural community. This appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2022 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 4-year term.

Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife – this appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2023 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 3-year term.

Senior Services and Public Transit Advisory Board – applicants must be a Douglas County resident living in the Lake Tahoe Township. This appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2023 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 2-year term.

The application deadline for all positions is 5 p.m. Jan. 31, 2022. Appointments will be made at the Feb. 17 county commissioners meeting.
