Fall dance classes

Registration open until Sept. 23 for dance classes for tots through adults at the Performing Arts Project of Northern Nevada, 2556 Precision Drive, Suite E, Minden. One free dance class for new students in ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, pre-dance, jazz, tap, adult workout. Information at cassiebrock@aol.com or 267-4446.

Dance lessons

Country western dance lessons offered Wednesdays at the Genoa Town Hall. Beginner class at 7 p.m. Intermediate instruction and open dancing until 9:30 p.m. Information, Tom or Donna, 783-0910.

Square dance classes

Beginner square dance classes presented by Larry Ward begin with a free class on Sept. 29 in the Genoa Town Hall. Registration is Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27. Classes are 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays. Cost is $5 per person. Dance workshops are 8-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Information, (775) 461-0474.

Carson City dance classes

Registration is Sept. 20 and 27 for high school ballroom dancing. Classes are 7:30-9 p.m. Sundays. Cost is $6 per person.

Registration is Sept. 21 and Sept. 28 for beginner adult ballroom dancing classes in swing, cha-cha, waltz, Texas two-step, tango, salsa, fox trot. Classes are 7:15-9:15 p.m. Mondays. Cost is $8 each class.
