Fall dance classes

Register for dance classes for tots through adults at the Performing Arts Project of Northern Nevada, 2556 Precision Drive, Suite E, Minden. One free dance class for new students in ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, pre-dance, jazz, tap, adult workout. Auditions taken now for "Clara's Prayer," an adaptation of "the Nutcracker," to be performed at the Brewery Arts Center in December. Information at cassiebrock@aol.com or 267-4446.

Western dance

Country western dance lessons offered Wednesdays at the Genoa Town Hall. Beginner class at 7 p.m. Intermediate instruction and open dancing until 9:30 p.m. Information, Tom or Donna, 783-0910.

Square dance

Registration for beginner square dance classes presented by Larry Ward is Oct. 20 and Oct. 27. Classes are 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays in the Genoa Town Hall. Cost is $5 per person. Dance workshops are 8-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Information, (775) 461-0474.

Beginning ballroom

Registration is Oct. 19 for beginner adult ballroom dancing classes in swing, cha-cha, waltz, Texas two-step, tango, salsa, fox trot. Classes are 7:15-9:15 p.m. Mondays. Cost is $8 each class. Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive, Carson City. Information, (775) 461-0474.
