Fall dance classes
The Performing Arts Project of Northern Nevada, 2556 Precision Drive, Suite E, Minden, offers one free dance class for new students in ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, pre-dance, jazz and tap. Register through Saturday at cassiebrock@aol.com or 267-4446.
Dance lessons
Country western dance lessons offered Wednesdays at the Genoa Town Hall. Beginner class at 7 p.m. Intermediate instruction and open dancing until 9:30 p.m. Information, Tom or Donna, 783-0910.
Square dance classes
Beginner square dance classes presented by Larry Ward begin with a free class on Sept. 29 in the Genoa Town Hall. Registration is Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27. Classes are 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays. Cost is $5 per person. Dance workshops are 8-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Information, (775) 461-0474.
Carson City dance classes
Registration is Sept. 13, 20, 27 for beginner square dance classes for fourth- and fifth-graders. Classes are 6-7:30 p.m. Sundays. Cost is $4 per person, per class.
