Nevada Black Chamber of Commerce Expo on Dec. 5 in Reno

The Nevada Black Chamber of Commerce's second annual Business and Networking Expo is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Center for Unique Business Enterprises (C4CUBE), a small business incubator 300 E. 2nd St., 12th floor, in downtown Reno.

All members of the business community are invited to attend the expo. Speaker and interactive panel sessions at 1:30-4 p.m.

The event is free for attendees. Exhibitor booths available for $20 for Nevada Black Chamber members and $45 for non-members.

"Our goal to promote the economic vitality of minority-owned and small businesses by providing opportunities to develop relationships with other local businesses, as well as resources and experts who can help their enterprises grow," said Mary-Ann Andrews, executive vice president of the Nevada Black Chamber of Commerce.

"The current economy has stimulated new business formation among those who see niche opportunities to fill changing consumer and business needs, and we're helping to educate entrepreneurs to find the right openings for their ideas," Andrews said.

Speakers at the event will offer valuable tips for established and new businesses including business planning, marketing, branding, forging successful joint ventures and strategic alliances, accessing resources and capital.
