Photo club May winner chosen

The May Carson Valley Photo Club contest was about weather. First place was Carol Heinricy's photo, "Rainy Day at the Falls." Photos may be viewed at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden.

The theme for the photo club's May contest is architecture. Pictures must be 8-by-10 or 81⁄2-by-11 inches and must have been taken May 12-June 9. Club members only may enter the contest, but new members may join at the next meeting of the photo club June 9. The club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.
