Thanks for helping

EDITOR:

A huge shout out to all of our community members that contributed their time, effort and enthusiasm to make our inaugural pasta feed and our second annual walk, jog, run a rousing success. The Partnership of Community Resources wishes to thank every person that stepped up to the plate and sold tickets, cooked, served, cleared, cleaned, sold and purchased tickets for the pasta feed, silent auction, raffle, etc. All proceeds will benefit the prevention education arm of the partnership which means the youth of our community.

The partnership would like to thank the partnership board of directors, Students Taking on Prevention, Suicide Prevention Network, advisory board and board of directors, Kerry Stack and her wonderful crew from the DHS culinary arts, Marty Swisher and the DHS staff, Gil Goode, Sheriff Ron Pierini, Deputy Chris Griffith and all the community members that made the pasta feed a great way to kick off the Carson Valley Days weekend.

The second annual walk, jog, run for the health of it brought a whole new set of volunteers that made the run down our community streets a fun and healthy way to bring on the start of the Carson Valley Days parade.

A special thanks to Jeremy Davidson and the Carson Valley 20-30 Club, Keith Cole, Mark Walling, Jay Frey and the DHS cross country track team, Members of the Education Foundation, Rite of Passage, Dori Draper, Jerry Clark, Omar Mewborn, Danielle Belanger, Lorie Powell, Brian & Leslie Smith, GE, Syncon Homes, Jodi Wass, Kyle Martinez, Alyssa Matus, David Matus, Billy Gilkerson, DART, Enterprise Rent A Car, Cost Co, Lira's Supermarket, Smith's, Raley's, Horizon Construction, Douglas County Parks & Recreation, WalMart, Scolari's, LLP Construction, Nakoma Investments, Trader Joe's, Restoration Spa, Dynamic Development, Eagle Fitness, The Record-Courier, D'Art & Bradley Johnson, Allison & Peter Beekhof, Lolita Johnson, DCBIA, and anyone else whom we failed to acknowledge, we are sincerely grateful that you spent your time to help us grow, we could not have done it without you.
