Wine making class offered

Gardnerville wine maker Archie Reed teaches how to make wine beginning 7 p.m. July 14 at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension office, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.

The five-week course costs $275 and includes everything needed to make wine except bottles. The wine ingredient kit offers 12 choices of white and red wines. Expect to make 30 bottles of the wine of your choice and have the equipment and knowledge to make wine at home for $2 per bottle.
