Thirsty Thursday Wine Walk in Gardnerville on Thursday

GARDNERVILLE, Nev.

The Thirsty Third Thursday Wine Walk is 4:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. The event features a Western theme. Cost is $10 for wrist band, $5 for commemorative wine glass.

Main Street Gardnerville hosts wine walks the third Thursday of the month through Sept. 17. Information, mainstreetgardnerville.org or 782-8027.

Upcoming Thirsty Thursdays are July 16 with a red, white and blue theme, Aug. 20 with a '50s theme and Sept. 17 with a Hawaiian theme.

Check in is 4:30-8:30 p.m. at registration booths at the Town of Gardnerville office, 1407 Highway 395, or the Stratton Center, 1532 Highway 395, Gardnerville.

Wine walkers who wear cowboy hats or bandanas on Thursday will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. Chances to win a $100 gift certificate.  

Carriage rides by Borges Family Carriage Rides, weather permitting. Pick up and drop off locations are at Sharkey's Casino and the Mountain View Center parking lot at Highway 395 and Centertowne Drive.

Purchase $10 wrist bands and a $5 commemorative wine glass to participate in the wine walk. That same wine glass may used each month but a new wrist band must be purchased fir each Thirsty Third Thursday event. 

Wine glasses and coupons will be available at Movies in Heritage Park events Friday, and July 10 and July 31.
