Thirsty Third Thursday wine walk this week

The Thirsty Third Thursday Wine Walk is 4:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. The event features a red, white and blue theme. Cost is $10 for wrist band, $5 for commemorative wine glass.

Main Street Gardnerville hosts wine walks the third Thursday of the month through Sept. 17. Information, mainstreetgardnerville.org or 782-8027.

Check in is 4:30-8:30 p.m. at registration booths at the Town of Gardnerville office, 1407 Highway 395, or the Stratton Center, 1532 Highway 395, Gardnerville.

Purchase $10 wrist bands and a $5 commemorative wine glass for the wine walk. That same wine glass may used each month but a new wrist band must be purchased for each Thirsty Third Thursday event. 

Wine walkers who wear red, white and blue on Thursday will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. Chances to win a $100 gift certificate. Upcoming Thirsty Thursdays are Aug. 20 with a '50s theme and Sept. 17 with a Hawaiian theme.
