Summer camp begins

Douglas Country Parks & Recreation Department presents Wet and Wacky summer camps for 3- to 6-year-olds at the Discovery Center.

Camp includes activities with water, sand and paints and meets 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Cost is $50 per week. Sign up at the recreation department, 1327 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville. Information, 782-9828 or 782-6454.
