Teen camps offered



The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department is currently taking registration for many awesome adventures this summer with our teen population. All trips depart and return from the recreation department office, 1327 Waterloo Lane. Bring a backpack with a sack lunch with drink, water bottle and sunscreen. Additional spending money is optional but recommended. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required. A parent permission form must be completed at time of registration. The following is a list of trip activities: Kayaking & Broom Ball, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 29, $25; paintball at Homewood Resort, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 13 or July 27, $50; Truckee River rafting, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 3 or Aug. 10, $30; Wild Island Water Park, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., July 6 or Aug. 17, $35.
