The R-C Morning Report

After several delays, Gardnerville Town Board members will tackle the design review for the Walmart. This has been a contentious process and I suspect today's meeting won't be any different. Gardnerville meets 4:30 p.m. in the town offices downtown.

Parks and Recreation commissioners are meeting 6 p.m. in the Indian Hills General Improvement District offices to review plans for Valley Vista Park. The park is close to the point where construction can begin. The meeting will be held at James Lee Park.

Genoa Town Board members meet at 7 p.m. in the town meeting room to discuss the cowboy poetry event planned for next spring.

Today's weather will be mostly sunny with a high of 55 degrees. The low tonight will be 20 degrees. The long range forecast has finally come up with some precipitation way out on the horizon. The National Weather Service is showing that Sunday night might bring a slight chance of rain and snow, improving on Monday.
