The R-C Morning Report

Genoans may learn the preliminary results of Candy Dance at their regular meeting tonight. The Genoa Town Board meets at 7 p.m. in the town hall offices. It will be their first meeting since the annual fundraiser in September.

Gardnerville Town Board's monthly meeting is considerably lighter without the weight of the Walmart design review. That has been put back until December at the request of the applicant. The town board meets at 4:30 p.m. and will probably be done within the hour.

Douglas County Parks & Recreation commissioners are scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in the Douglas County Senior Center. A review of Indian Hills Valley Vista Park is on the agenda.

The weather picture for the week is coming into focus, and the moisture originally anticipated for Saturday is now on Thursday night, when autumn starts creeping in. For today expect sunny skies and calm winds with a high of 75 degrees. Wednesday will be a little bit cooler. We might see a little snow on Saturday.
