Big Mama needs sponsors, vendors

Vendors, sponsors and cars are needed for the ninth annual Big Mama's Show & Shine Classic Car Show in Lampe Park on May 9.

The event of crafts, food, music and classic cars is organized by Douglas County Senior Services as a fundraiser for the Meals On Wheels program that delivers meals to homebound seniors. This year it is expected that more than 29,000 meals will be delivered to Meals On Wheels clients in Douglas County.

To become a sponsor for the show, a craft fair vendor, to make raffle item donations or for applications for classic vehicles (1972 and older), contact Amanda Reid at Douglas County Senior Center, 783-6455.
