Crafts, food, music and classic cars will be found at the ninth annual Big Mama's Show & Shine Classic Car Show, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lampe Park Pavilion in Gardnerville.

Last year's car show attracted 150 classic cars. Register cars from 1972 and older by calling the Douglas County Senior Center at 783-6455 or at the registration table at the park on Saturday.

Oldies music is provided by DJ Chuck Baldauskas. The Carson Valley Lion's Club will barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers.

Vendors include jewelry, Costco, reverse mortgage, crafts, Personal Emergency Response System, scented candles and the Kid's Fishing Derby. T-shirts will be for sale the day of the event.

Raffle prizes will be drawn throughout the day. Tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5 or 13 for $10 for prizes that include a ceiling fan, night out packages from Reno and Tahoe hotels, breakfast for four at Katie's Country Kitchen at the Carson Valley Inn, Starbucks gift basket and a round of golf for four at Dayton Golf Course. A complete list of raffle prizes is at the senior center.
