The R-C Morning Report

It appears our thunderstorms dropped more rain and less lightning than anticipated. Most areas of Northern Nevada got a trace of moisture and I didn't hear a single thunderclap on Tuesday evening. The weather radar shows trace moisture moving north this morning.

Weather forecasters are taking another crack at it for Friday, calling for a slight chance of thunderstorms.

Trustees for the Indian Hills General Improvement District are meeting tonight to discuss hiring a new manager. Interim manager Art Baer is seeking direction from the board, according to the agenda. Trustees meet 6 p.m. in their boardroom at James Lee Park.

I didn't hear it at the time, but there was reportedly a hit and run accident at Highway 395 and Buckeye Road at 3:34 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. I do know the deputies were looking for someone in the East Valley around 5:30 p.m. They may or may not have anything to do with one another. We'll check into both and see what's going on.
