Indian Hills General Improvement District trustees are scheduled to follow up on their decision last month to connect to a proposed pipeline between Minden and Carson City tonight. On the agenda are the possibility of forming a negotiation team for issues related to the pipeline, asking the manager to continue to seek ways to deal with the district's arsenic problem and determining what to do with the water rights the district has now. Trustees meet at 6 p.m. in their offices in James Lee Park.

Accused heroin dealer Kevin David Oliver, 21, is scheduled to appear in East Fork Justice Court today to hear the charges against him and find out if he's represented by counsel. Oliver was arrested Thursday at his Gardnerville Ranchos home after deputies received a tip through Secret Witness.

Vista Grande across Clear Creek was closed on Tuesday for a water line break that took out four fire hydrants behind the Walmart.

It will be another sunny, warm day today with the forecast high hitting 94 degrees. Temperatures are going to keep climbing again on Thursday, but we may see some cooling along with the thunderstorms predicted for the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
