Art featuring Nevada's wild horses, paper making demonstrations and exhibitions of art created from recycled materials are offered during Carson Valley Art Gallery Association's Second Saturday event on Aug. 11.

-- "Wild Mustangs of Nevada" reception 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Artistic Viewpoints Gallery and Studio, 1368 Highway 395, #B, Gardnerville, 783-0633. The work of Eastern Sierra Professional Artists and other artists and photographers who feature mustangs will be on display in the art show and sale that continues through August.
-- "Deconstruction/Reconstruction - Art from Recycled Materials," exhibit continues through Sept. 9 at Artisans International Gallery, 1653 Lucerne St., Minden Village, 783-8881. A wine and cheese reception with the members of the California Fiber Artist Association is 2 - 4 p.m. on Second Saturday.
