Fancy Nancy party at the library

Celebrate National Library Week at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden. The library is hosting a Fancy Nancy party at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Fancy Nancy character is based on the book by Jane O'Connor.

Dress up and come to the library for a tea party. If you have a tea set please bring it, along with something plain and something fancy to share. Make tea sandwiches and decorate fancy eyeglasses. Children four and older and adults are welcome. Adults accompanying children must dress up. Register by Thursday. This program is limited to 25 children.
