"A Murder is Announced" at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden. An Agatha Christie costume party will take place 7 p.m. today at the library. Come dressed as your best Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple.
This costume party is the finale of the winter adult reading program. Reading prizes and the grand prize winner will be announced. Cookies and beverages will be served. This event is sponsored by Russell's Mercantile in Minden.
This is the last day of the "A Murder is Announced" adult reading program. Sign up for the program at either the Minden or Lake Tahoe branches of the Douglas County Public Library. The Minden library is located at 1625 Library Lane. The Lake Tahoe Library is located in Zephyr Cove Park. Information, 782-9841.
