Scholarship art show/raffle Nov. 3-5



The CVAA Scholarship Benefit Art Show will be held in the CVIC Hall on Esmeralda Avenue in Minden. The proceeds from the show provide scholarships for continuing art students from Douglas High School in Minden and Whittell High School at Stateline.


The show hours are: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 3; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 4; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5.


There will be an artists' reception with refreshments 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 3. A door prize will be given away at the end of the reception.


The CVAA raffle prize drawing will be held at the scholarship benefit art show at 2 p.m. Nov. 5. The winners need not be present at the drawing. They will be called at the phone number on their ticket deposited at the show during the show hours.
