Carson Valley Active 20-30 members take national seats

Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club members Tim Provost, Aaron Meeden and Robbie Boulais were each installed and elected into national positions recently.

Provost is the national president for Active 20-30 US & Canada for 2023, Meeden is the Nation-al President Elect for 2024 and Boulais is now Director of Region 4 clubs.

Elections and installation took place in Nampa, Idaho, as part of the 2023 Active 20-30 US Na-tional Convention.

Tim and Aaron become the third and fourth members of Carson Valley Active 20-30 to be elect-ed as national president.

Previous Carson Valley members in this position were Nick Grant and Tommy Lovell.


FRENSDORFF MAKES UNR DEAN’S LIST

Gardnerville resident Grady Frensdorff achieved the Spring 2023 dean’s list at the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno. Full-time students who complete 12 or more college-level units during the semester, while maintaining a 3.5 or higher grade point average earn this honor.


OREGON STATE NAMES HONOR ROLL

Five Carson Valley students have been named to the Scholastic Honor Roll for Spring 2023 by Oregon State University.

Biology student Sofia M. DeLange and kinesiology student Zoey Quinn are both Gardnerville sophomores at Oregon State.

Graduate computer science student Harprit S. Bath, accountancy junior Kennedy R. Cole and management freshman Megan K. Tristao all hail from Minden.

A total of 11,660 students earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least six graded hours of course work.
