Volunteer opportunities at Carson Valley Community Food Closet

It's the time of year where more volunteers are needed at the Carson Valley Community Food Closet. Help is needed in distributing food at the Waterloo Lane location, or to pick up food donations from stores and businesses.

Donations of handmade craft items are needed for the annual Closet Crafters' Craft Faire on the first Saturday of November.

Donations of fresh-baked goods are also needed for the bake sale during the craft fair. For crafting information, call Donna Coker, 783-7603.

The Carson Valley Community Food Closet is at 1255 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.
