Auditions for Wild Horse Children's Theater salsa fairy tale Oct. 16

Auditions for the Wild Horse Children's Theater youth touring company production of "Cinderella Eats Rice and Beans: A Salsa Fairy Tale" are 1-3 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada.

Casting is for two multicultural casts of young actors, ages 12-18. Eight to 10 actors of all ethnicities will be cast and Cinderella (Cenicienta) must be bilingual Spanish/English speaking. Auditioners should bring a short, contemporary monologue.

The play is part of Wild Horse Children's Theater's Educational Outreach program funded in part by the Nevada Arts Commission and Best Buy Community Grants.
