Knights bingo benefits Biaggini

The Knights of Columbus dedicate today's bingo to the memory of Douglas County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Biaggini. Proceeds go toward medical and other expenses incurred during his battle with cancer. Doors open at 6 p.m., play begins at 7 p.m. in the St. Gall Catholic Church Pastoral Center, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. Buy-in of $21 includes bonus blackouts and hot ball jackpot. Teen dance today

Douglas County Parks & Recreation's teen dance for sixth- to eighth-grade students is 6:30-9 p.m. today at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Building. Music by Bill McClain's Mobile Music. Cost of $10 includes a slice of pizza and drink with snacks available for purchase. Students must arrange own transportation to be picked up by 9 p.m. Students are not to be dropped off before 6:30 p.m. Middle school students must bring student ID. Information, 782-9828.


Soil workshop Saturday

Community breakfast Sunday

The St. Gall Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and Youth Ministry provides a free community breakfast to those who may be in need, 7:15-10:30 a.m. Sunday, at the church, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.
