The R-C Morning Report

There's an H1N1 flu vaccination clinic upstairs at Sharkey's today 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There's a lot of upper respiratory stuff going around, so it might be a good idea to get the vaccine, just in case. Flu season is not supposed to end until May, and since it looks like winter is on its way back, we might be due for another one.

It's supposed to be mostly cloudy today, but a survey of the morning sky yields a result of mostly not cloudy, so I'm not quite sure where the chance of rain we're getting this afternoon is going to come from. The Weather Service is calling for 50 percent chance today and a 30 percent chance on Saturday, with rain turning to snow on Sunday. Forecasters think there's a possibility we'll see 1-3 inches on the Valley floor.

Eagles and Agriculture's Dan Kaffer is looking for great horned owls, so anyone who has them and doesn't mind a few dozen people coming by to stare at your fir tree should call him at 721-2387.
