The Share Your Holiday Food Drive is already in progress at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. If you've got some food you'd like to donate, just pop it in a bag and drive through on your way to work. We'll get the accounting at around 6:30 p.m.
Douglas County School Board trustees meet 9 a.m. today in the district offices to go over feedback on the new vision statement and revised mission statement for the district. The board is meeting at the historic Minden school house at 1638 Mono Ave.
We've got a chance of scattered showers today clearing by this afternoon. Expect cloudy skies and breezy conditions between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. It's very warm out this morning, with the temperature at 52 degrees in Minden, 54 degrees in the Gardnerville Ranchos and 51 degrees in Genoa.
