The Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley's 12th annual Stars of Tomorrow talent competition and silent auction is Saturday at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults, $30 family, $5 students and children, available at the door.

Sign up by Monday to make tracks

Carson Valley Middle School's inaugural Making Tracks walk to benefit cystic fibrosis research begins 8 a.m. May 1 from the front of the school and covers about 5 kilometers around downtown Gardnerville and Minden. Cars wanted for Cruisers Rockathon
