Spirit Tour at Dake House

Spirit tours are 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dake House, 2242 Main St. in Genoa, next to the Genoa Post Office.

The Gothic Victorian Dake House was built in 1872 by Genoa's first undertaker. It houses a variety of spirits and is mentioned in the Encyclopedia of Haunted Places as one of the most haunted places in Northern Nevada. Paranormal occurrences and voices were documented in a news report on the house's spirits from Channel 2 News. The recording will be played throughout the evening.

Sandie La Nae and her team from Thin Veil Investigations give instructions on reaching those on the other side. Extra charge for readings or handwriting analysis.

Tickets for the spirit tour are $7. Reservations recommended but tickets may be purchased at the door. Refreshments served.
