Firefighters are en route to 1136 Meadowlark Circle in Chambers Field for a report of a wildland fire.
The call came in at 12:57 p.m.
Firefighters from the Gardnerville Ranchos, Minden and Sheridan are responding.
The person reporting the fire said it is near a home and that someone is trying to douse the fire.
Firefighters on scene report the fire is less than a quarter acre in size burning in light grass. It is being pushed by 10 mph winds.
