Gingerbread house building at the library Nov. 21

Sweets will be featured at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden. Dennis Little will help children build gingerbread houses using graham crackers and other sweets. Dennis has volunteered at the library for many years, and always provides fun, energetic guidance for creative children. Create an edible craft to take home. Children and parents are welcome.

The program is limited to 30 children per session. Register by Nov. 18 to attend either program. Bring a donation for the program from a list of supplies. Supplies must be delivered to the library before 7 p.m. Nov. 18.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library. The library is located at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. Information at 782-9841 or douglas.lib.nv.us
