Register by Wednesday to make gingerbread houses at the Douglas County Public Library on Nov. 22. Library volunteer Dennis Little will help children build gingerbread houses using graham crackers and other sweets at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 22.
Children and parents are welcome to create edible crafts to take home. The program is limited to 25 participants per session who will be asked to bring a donation from a list of supplies for the program. Supplies must be delivered to the library before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library. The library is at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. Information at douglas.lib.nv.us or 782-9841.
