Updates on former Douglas High standouts

Pat Carlson, jr., G, CSU Bakersfield: Did not play in a win over Cal Poly.


Brendan Carlson, soph., G, Lassen College: Lassen is 17-13 overall on the year and 5-5 in conference play.


Chris Carlson, soph., F, Lassen College: Carlson is the second-leading scorer in the Golden Valley Conference at 19.2 points per game. He's hit 45 3-pointers on the year and had 30 points in one game this season.

Nick Cohee, fr., Utah: Cohee is the top qualifier for the giant slalom at next week's NCAA National Championships in Maine. He is also the second overall qualfier. The Utes finished sixth as a team at the recent regional championships.

Shawn Estes, P, Los Angeles Dodgers (Minor League): Estes gave up seven runs, five earned, in a little over an inning against the Mariners on Friday.


Jordan Hadlock, fr., C, Cal Poly: The Mustangs ran their win streak to six straight with a series sweep of Sacramento State over the weekend. Hadlock is redshirting this season.


Chris Honer, jr., P, Point Loma: Honer gave up two runs on one hit in two innings of relief work in a 5-1 loss to San Diego Christian last week. He struck out two and walked one.


Phil Mannelly, soph., IF, Feather River: Feather River ran its record to 14-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play with a series sweep over Shasta. Mannelly went 2-for-5 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in a 7-1 win over Shasta. He went 1-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs in a 13-1 win over Shasta.


Cory Eilers, soph., DH, Feather River: Eilers scored a run in a 10-7 win over Shasta. He went 1-for-2 in a 13-1 win over Shasta.


Roman Davis, soph., C, Feather River: Davis is batting .200 with a run scored and a stolen base in one start this year.


Niko Saladis, soph., RF, Feather River: Saladis went 1-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI in a 10-7 win over Shasta. He also had a stolen base in the game. He went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, a run scored and two stolen bases in a 7-1 win over Shasta. He went 1-for-3 with three runs scored in a 13-1 win over Shasta.


Ryan Laing, soph., 1B, Pratt College (Kansas): Pratt is 2-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play.


Chris Balcom-Miller, soph., P/IF, West Valley College: West Valley is 1-7 overall on the year. Balcom-Miller is batting .174 with a run scored and an RBI in six starts and is 1-0 on the mound with a 1.50 ERA, seven strikeouts and two walks.

Brittany Puzey, sr., OF, Nevada: Puzey became Nevada's all-time career leader in home runs after hitting a seventh-inning shot to center in a 3-0 win over Oregon State Saturday. It was the 24th home run of her four-year career.


Lauren Hoppe, fr., OF, College of Idaho: No games last week.

Nicole Mehrer, fr., Nevada: Nevada took sixth at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Track Championships in Boise, Idaho over the weekend.


Ryan Bertucci, soph., Chico State: Bertucci took second in the high jump with a leap of 6-8.00 at the Wildcat Relays Saturday.


Skylar Young, fr., Chico State: Young anchored the 4x800 relay team to a first-place finish at the Wildcat Invitational Saturday. The team finished the race in 9:37.81.
