Former Tigers: Weekly update for March 12

Amanda Essary, jr., F, Lindenwood: The Lions claimed their second national title in the program's five-year history, beating Robert Morris 2-1 Sunday in the ACHA Division I championship game.

Lindenwood concluded its season with a 36-3 record, topping the previous school best of 29.

Essary had seven goals and 11 assists in 28 games played this year.

Keith Olson, fr., C/F, Northern Arizona: Red-shirting. The Lumberjacks advanced to the Big Sky conference championship game with a 75-70 win over Weber State Tuesday night.

Bryan Miller, sr., OF, Troy University: Miller is third on the team with a .333 batting average. He has started all 14 of Troy's games and has 11 doubles, 15 RBIs and one home run. The Trojans are 11-3 on the year.


Chris Honer, jr., P, Point Loma: Honer improved to 5-2 on the year, pitching five-plus innings in an 11-5 win over California Baptist. He struck out two and walked two in the win.


Phil Mannelly, fr., IF, Feather River: Mannelly has started six games for the Golden Eagles and is batting .300 with a double, a triple and six RBIs. He has stolen two bases.


Cory Eilers, fr., DH, Feather River: Eilers is batting .214 with four RBIs.


Roman Davis, Rfr., C, Feather River: Feather River is 4-1 in conference play and 11-12 overall. Davis is batting .429 in six games played.


Niko Saladis, fr., RF, Feather River: Saladis is batting .286 for the Golden Eagles with two doubles, a triple and 11 RBIs. He has also stolen eight bases.

Brittany Puzey, jr., OF, Nevada: The Wolf Pack is 16-8 on the year. Puzey is batting .254 with seven RBIs, six doubles and three home runs. She has stolen six bases and started all 24 of Nevada's games.


Kayla Dunn, jr., P/IF, Utah State: Dunn is batting .280 with two doubles and four RBIs. She has started 11 games for the Aggies and has made three appearances in the circle.

Ryan Bertucci, soph. , Chico State: Bertucci won the high jump at the Wildcat Relays over the weekend with a personal best of 6 feet, 8 inches.
