Nick Cohee, fr., Utah: Cohee is in Maine for the NCAA Alpine Ski Championships. He will compete in the giant slalom today and the slalom on Friday. Last week, he earned first-team All-Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skiing Association honors. He was the only American named to the first team.

Shawn Estes, P, Los Angeles Dodgers (Minor League): Estes threw two innings against Seattle Saturday, giving up one run and one hit.


Jordan Hadlock, fr., C, Cal Poly: Red-shirting. The Mustangs took two of three games at Houston over the weekend.


Chris Honer, jr., P, Point Loma: Honer pitched a scoreless inning in a 3-1 win over California Baptist last week.


Phil Mannelly, soph., IF, Feather River: No games last week.


Cory Eilers, soph., DH, Feather River: No games last week.


Roman Davis, soph., C, Feather River: No games last week.


Niko Saladis, soph., RF, Feather River: No games last week.


Ryan Laing, soph., 1B, Pratt College (Kansas): Pratt is 4-12 overall and 2-6 in conference play.


Chris Balcom-Miller, soph., P/IF, West Valley College: West Valley lost to San Mateo and beat De Anza last week. Balcom-Miller is 3-2 on the year with a 1.93 ERA and 35 strikeouts.

Brittany Puzey, sr., OF, Nevada: Puzey was named the Wolf Pack Classic MVP after hitting .667 for the week with four doubles, two home runs, seven runs and seven RBIs. Puzey was also selected as a candidate for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award last week. From the list of 30 candidates, a national media committee will select 10 finalists and the final award will be determined by a nationwide vote.


Lauren Hoppe, fr., OF, College of Idaho: Red-shirting. The Coyotes beat Idaho State 8-0, lost to Boise State 4-3 and lost to Idaho State 5-3 over the weekend.

Nicole Mehrer, fr., Nevada: Did not compete at the outdoor season-opener at UNLV.


Ryan Bertucci, soph., Chico State: Bertucci took third in the high jump at the Gator Preview with a leap of 6-4.00.


Skylar Young, fr., Chico State: Did not compete last week.
