Sampson and Nielsen to be married in August

Hayley Sampson and Jeremy Nielsen, both of Carson City, are engaged to be married Aug. 8, 2009, at Lake Tahoe.

Sampson is the daughter of Dan and Annie Sampson of Minden. She is a 2000 graduate of Mount Sierra Christian School and is employed as an esthetician at Lake Tahoe.

Nielsen is the son of Heide and Jeff Lerud of Minden. He is a 2004 graduate of Carson High School and is employed as a warehouse manager in Sparks.
