Cooke, Lafferty to be married in August

Bob and Sandy Cooke of Minden and Glenda and Ken Grafton of Dayton have announced the engagement of their son, Chad Cooke, to Rebecca Lafferty.

Rebecca Lafferty is a native of McCook, Neb., and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She is employed in the human resources/loss prevention department at the Buckle Corporation.

Chad Cooke is a Douglas High School graduate and graduated with a master's degree from the University of Nebraska, Kearney, in 2008. He is works in the Internet sales department at the Buckle corporate office in Kearney.

The couple plan to be married Aug. 22, 2009, at Lake Tahoe.
