Kari Robinson and Johnny Vandenberg, both of San Diego, are engaged to be married in California on May 29, 2009.
Robinson is the daughter of Kathy and Ken Robinson of Minden. She attended Lake Tahoe Community College and is employed as a makeup artist.
Vandenberg is the son of Julie Demosthenes and Peter Vandenberg of Reno. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, and works at the University of California, San Diego.
The couple plans to hold a ceremony in Nevada on May 29, 2010.
