Jones and Love engaged

Former Carson Valley residents Candace Jones and Chad Love are engaged to be married Aug. 15, 2009, in Newport Beach, Calif.

Jones is the daughter of Mike and Gina Jones of Minden. She is a 2003 graduate of Douglas High School and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a degree in health ecology.

Love is the son of John and Karin Ediss of Genoa and the late Ron Love. He is a 2000 graduate of Douglas High School and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a degree in business marketing.

The couple live in Orange County, Calif.
