Gas leak diverts traffic in downtown

Traffic is being diverted away from Highway 395 and First Street for a gas leak at the Carson Valley Arts Council building.

Firefighters are waiting on the gas company to shut down what they're describing as a high pressure leak caused by a piece of equipment striking a line.

Northbound traffic is being diverted down County Road. Southbound traffic is being diverted down Buckeye Road.
