Dinner for Douglas graduate tonight

A benefit dinner for 2002 Douglas High School graduate Stella Baldauskas is 6-11 p.m. today at Sharkey's in Gardnerville. Baldauskas was injured March 9 in an off-road accident near Las Vegas.

Boutique benefits support council

Gifts by The Body Shop at Home hosts a Mother's Day boutique and spring clearance sale, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Pizza Barn, 1544 Highway 395, Gardnerville. The event benefits the Family Support Council's fight against domestic violence.

Topaz Sagehens sale May 3-4

Vendors, cars needed for show and shine

Douglas County Senior Services' eighth annual Big Mama's Show & Shine Car Show is May 10 at the Lampe Park pavilion in Gardnerville. There will be food, live music, bounce house, craft fair, raffles and classic cars. The event benefits the Meals on Wheels program.
