Saturday art events

Events from this month's Carson Valley Art Gallery Association's Second Saturday event include:

-- Children's paper mask workshop with Beth Bosmans at East Fork Gallery, 1503 Highway 395, Gardnerville, 782-7629. Sign-up required. Parents must accompany children. Demonstrations at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Light refreshments served.

-- Visit with historical series acrylic painter Ric Rose at Art!Rageous Gallery, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 1685 Highway 395, #5, Minden, 783-4700.

-- Meet watercolor artist Teri Sweeney 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Artistic Viewpoints Gallery, 1368 Highway 395, #B, Gardnerville, 783-0633. Refreshments served.

Other galleries on the Carson Valley Art Trail are: Lone Tree Frame Co. and Gallery, 1598 Esmeralda Ave., Minden; Minden Fast Frame Art Gallery, 1614 Highway 395 and Artisans International, 1653 Lucerne St., Suite B, Minden.

-- Art from the Carson Valley Artists Association will be displayed at the Casa Bella Home and Garden Decor, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 1644 Highway 395. Wine and cheese served. There is no charge for this event.
