Anna C. Zimmerman

1934-2007

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. today for Anna C. Zimmerman, 73, at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville who died March 27, 2007, in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Prescott, Ariz., to Clifford and Ruby Nita McDuff. She was a college graduate and had a career in administration in the school district. She married Gene Zimmerman. She belonged to the United Methodist Church of Redondo Beach, Calif., and the Carson Valley United Methodist Church. She was a very active member of the choir. She was a resident of Gardnerville for 16 years, moving here from Torrance, Calif., having lived there for 42 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sept. 23, 1998. She is survived by her daughter Nita Ritchie and her husband David and three grandchildren, all of Torrance, Calif. and her son Mark Zimmerman and one grandchild; her sister Mickey Depriest and many other family members and friends.

Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremations. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
