TV show features Swing for a Cure



"Northern Nevada Lifestyles with Terrie Q. Sayre" is in Zephyr Cove this month meeting guests and talking about upcoming special events and community fundraisers.

The television show runs Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on DCCA TV Ch.16 through the end of the month. Viewers can see it at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The program will be on ACC TV Ch. 10 in Carson City Monday at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday at 11 a.m. and Friday at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, the program runs on Lake Tahoe's South Shore cable access channel 19 at various times.


-- Pet Network Executive Director Bryan Davis talks about the Incline Village organization which rescues and places unwanted or abandoned pets of all kinds and offers information about various fundraisers.

-- Sharkey Begovich Swing For A Cure Golf Tournament Chairman and Founder Renea Louis appears along with Pam Graber, Annual Fund Coordinator the Carson Tahoe Regional Health Care Foundation and they discuss volunteers and donations needed for the May 20 event.


-- "The Guy From Tahoe" Curtis Fong shares information about local bicycle rides including the tour of the Carson Valley bike race July 1 in association with Valley special event Magiko.

-- M.S. Dixie II Director of Sales and Marketing Carol Chaplain discusses sternwheeler cruise varieties and times as well as talking about opening day Lake Tahoe special activities taking place June 16 and 17.


-- Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Authority Executive Director Skip Sayre wraps up the show shot entirely on the boat while cruising the big, blue world-famous Lake.
