"Northern Nevada Lifestyles with Terrie Q. Sayre" celebrates a variety of lifestyles in the region enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. The locally produced television show has aired in Carson Valley and South Shore, Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada since October 2005 and now it's coming to Nevada's capital city on ACC TV Ch. 10.
The program emphasizes beautiful locations, interesting people, great events and fun activities throughout the area. Community service is a strong focus and the show provides accurate local information in a viewer-friendly format. Each edition features a minimum of four guests with diverse information. The show also offers an "Adorable, Adoptable Pet" segment which showcases a shelter animal eager for a new home.
The show's host, Terrie Q. Sayre is a veteran radio and television broadcaster well-known to Nevadans. Terrie has served as news director for radio stations in Carson City and Lake Tahoe and most recently hosted two nationally televised real estate shows. In addition to hosting "Northern Nevada Lifestyles," Sayre co-anchors "Reno's Morning News Saturday" with John Potter 6-8 a.m. on Newstalk 780 KOH.
The television show aired for Carson City viewers on ACC TV Ch. 10 on April 2 and will continue each Monday at 8:30 a.m., each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and each Friday at 7:30 p.m. Carson Valley viewers will continue to see the show on DCCA TV Ch. 16 Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Lake Tahoe shows air at various times throughout the week on the local public access channel.
