"Northern Nevada Lifestyles with Terrie Q. Sayre" takes a look at summer celebrations throughout the area on this month's show.
The show begins airing Thursday and runs Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on DCCA TV Channel 26 through the end of the month. You can also view it at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Additionally, the program runs on Lake Tahoe's South Shore cable access channel 19 at various times.
n Laura Winking, Douglas Animal Welfare Group vice president, and volunteer Dorothy Morrison introduce viewers to "adorable, adoptable pet" Cinnamon and tell how to avoid pet heat stroke.
n Local artist Jonni Hill talks about The Carson Valley Almanac and displays her cover artwork in addition to other pieces.
n Ross Chichester fills viewers in on the Minden Centennial Celebration as well as other upcoming local special events.
n Steve Teshara of the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association informs viewers about fireworks and other festivities on the north shore of Lake Tahoe this summer season.
